INDUSTRIAL PARKS AS A TOOL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE'S NATIONAL ECONOMY DURING THE WAR AND POST-WAR PERIODS

The article explores the role of industrial parks as a strategic and effective instrument for ensuring the resilience, stabilization, and long-term development of Ukraine’s national economy under conditions of wartime disruption and in the context of post-war recovery. Particular attention is paid to the transformation of industrial parks from traditional production sites into multifunctional platforms that combine industrial activity, innovation, logistics, and technological cooperation. The study provides a comprehensive analysis of contemporary theoretical approaches to the formation and functioning of industrial parks, including cluster theory, regional development concepts, and innovation-driven growth models. Based on a synthesis of domestic and international experience, the article substantiates the importance of industrial parks in preserving production capacities, restoring disrupted supply chains, supporting critical industries, and facilitating enterprise relocation from conflict-affected regions. The research emphasizes the role of industrial parks in maintaining technological potential and employment during wartime, as well as their capacity to mitigate economic losses under conditions of limited resources and heightened logistical constraints. In the post-war period, industrial parks are examined as key drivers of economic reconstruction and modernization. The article highlights their potential to stimulate industrial renewal through the introduction of advanced technologies, development of innovative clusters, and integration with universities, research institutions, and innovation centers. Special attention is given to the role of industrial parks in promoting technology transfer, enhancing investment attractiveness, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and forming sustainable business ecosystems at the regional level. The study identifies priority directions for increasing the effectiveness of industrial parks, including strategic planning at the national and regional levels, improvement of institutional and regulatory frameworks, strengthening cooperation between business, science, and government, and the implementation of targeted policies aimed at boosting regional competitiveness and ensuring sustainable economic growth. The findings confirm the strategic significance of industrial parks as platforms for industrial modernization, innovation development, investment attraction, and post-war economic recovery, forming a foundation for practical recommendations and policy measures to enhance their contribution to Ukraine’s economic reconstruction and long-term development.
